2017-04-04 14:56:54 +0000 UTCI tried white gel pen as well, with the same limitations you noticed - they tend to clog up (especially on watercolour) and there's just a certain thickness of line to them. I use Talens ecoline opaque white, which is more liquid than regular gouache but has the same effect.

The video is amazing, I love seeing it all come to life like that. Is the white paint that you use gouache? I usually use a white gel pen, but I have trouble getting it to run smoothly, and wonder if I should give white gouache another go.
