"Where do you want to start?"

Yay! This seems to be one of the occasions when a long drawing hiatus ends in something really cool. Now - to keep that up!

Watercolour, white gel pen and Polychromos on Nuageux cold-pressed paper, A4 size.

Thank you loads!

Hey Springsss! I always scan my watercolours; I don't have the photo equipment to photograph them properly. My scanner is already quite good (it's a really, really old CanoScan Lide) and I fix the colours by an Action i recorded in Photoshop. (The colours always come out too light and slightly rose-tinted, so I just have one set of actions that fix any given scan.) When the area around it is still smudgy, I use the Burn tool to carefully brighten it, and erase thicker smudges. It's really a lot of work done on foot.

Hi, Jenny! Maybe you've written about it before, so then point me to the right place) How do you scan/photo your watercolors in order to save them bright and vivid and make the paper white? I'm an art student and try to digitize some of my works but mostly fail, because photos come grayish and this effect cannot be removed in photoshop without ruining colors at all( Maybe yoy have some hints? Thank you a lot in advance!

Nice portrait. This makes me excited to join the Doctor. You nailed it!

Ohh, this turned out lovely! The colors, and the stars/light spilling out of the Tardis! *___* Thank you so much for painting him!

Oh my God. Can I buy a print? As in "right now"?

Hmmm, this one is interesting! It has a more illustrative line weight (with the definitive edges) rather than the painterly ones I see in your work usually. It's quite striking.
