New goal added!

Either Patreon is playing an April Fool's on me, or we have somehow inched close to $600 over the last week!

So here's a new goal - I have noticed that my videos are hardly watched, and would like to hear what you would like to see in a video. Feel free to throw some ideas at me already, so I know how to make my videos more worthwhile!

Once we hit that next goal, you'll get to suggest and then vote on a video that you want me to make, and I'll do it. :)

Talking of new Patrons! Shoutout to Rebekka Wörner - welcome! :)

I'm new here, but I became a backer because I'm also a watercolorist and I'd like to get better at it. Videos of you painting are great, but a little narration about brushes, page wetness, drying times, wet-in-wet work, how you handle particular elements... any and all of that would be great.

Well, I was very happy with my first livestream (your latest) and was lucky to have an off time from work when you streamed. I'm not a visual artist either but I like your youtube videos and show them to my Animation students, so we'd be happy to have some more video tutorials. My students are really curious about your coffee painting. ^^

Thanks! I suppose that's true for a lot of people here. :)

I must admit I'm not that interested in the videos - I love seeing preview pics of work in progress but since I'm no visual artist myself, that's enough of a glimpse into the artistic process for me. :) I imagine it's a lot more interesting for people who are interested in the process, where as I am a stupid consumer who wants the finished product. ;)

I'm actually quite happy with the livestreams - an average of 15 viewers is fine for those. Glad to hear your kids enjoy them so much, awww - as a popcorn event, even! <3 I love your idea about artistic process! I never thought of that, but that's such a cool thought.

Most of my vids actually are without important audio, but they still don't get viewed much - the only one with a full voiceover (painting Smaug) has far more views on Youtube than everything else! They're so much more work though.

We watch the videos when we can!! My daughters (3 and 5) are fans, and the last couple times the timing hit before naptime for us (we're in the states), and I set them up with snacks and they watched wide eyed. We can't always stay the whole time, but if we can watch the stream we do. Or catch it later, if we can. For my part, I'd be interested in hearing a bit more about how your artistic process has grown and changed since you started. Maybe some examples, too!

For myself I probably wont be watching videos much compared to viewing other content. It requires time when I'm both not listening to something else and am in an environment where I don't mind playing audio, which is not most of my content viewing times. Unless it's a time lapse or something with no voiceover or other important audio and I know that ahead of time, I guess.

Thank you :-)
