Totally with you on that one and I wouldn't run either! Put me down for a print too. I love the discussion above about Maedhros' inner flame too. I think Maedhros probably did see his torture at Morgoth's hands as atonement for what he and his kin had done and for a time, was once again as he had been in Aman, but wiser, sadder and stronger even than then. Fingon's generosity of spirit probably helped rekindle it too.
