#Team Fëanor!

And some really cool news that I almost couldn't believe: The pin manufacturer got back to me to say that they can make different designs as if they were the same pins - meaning the price gets very affordable! That means I can make a heap of different designs, and have them manufactured without having to order 300 or so of each to make them affordable. 😍

Here's the top of the heap, so to speak. He wouldn't want to be any less.

And Eru help me, I had two non-Silmarillion pin ideas as well, one of them while listening to the BBC Lord of the Rings. I always wanted to make a pun on "Jenny don't be hasty" and an Ent came to mind. XD

Do any of you know the BBC audioplay? It's brilliant! It's even got Ioreth - even if Bombadil, Gildor, and Beregond again didn't make it in. But its Faramir is absolutely gold.

And Bill Nighy's singing is a total highlight. I only ever heard him sing "Christmas is all around" until now! Sean Astin very obviously based his entire performance on him, right down to every bit of the pronunciation.

I love the BBC audioplay. And I realize I will very soon walk around glittering with pins all over. Better get used to it already.

Are you planning to also make all of the Feanorians? Ambarussar could share one pin. :D

I'll make a poll, you decide which I make, I'll design them and have them printed, and then I'll throw them all at you! XD

I want ALL the pins!! How can we get more of these??

Yay, another fan of the BBC audioplay! Yes it's incredible and never fails to inspire me again and again. :) So keep listening and making those pins. They're gorgeous!

I listened to the BBC radio play every week when it was broadcast - yes, I'm that old! I have the cassettes and the CDs - which were played in the car all the way from home to a French campsite, through the holiday and all the way back, when my kids were in high school. #acechildrearing

Um, brilliant!

PipPIN, surely? And it even adds up to Jennys Ent-idea, with Pinglas... (it never ends, does it)

Team Fëanor! Yayyy! The design is beautiful. To be honest, I expect to finish with a LARGE collection of your enamel pins, when they come out! 😍 I came across the BBC audio play some years ago, when a student of mine, who is almost blind, got it for her birthday. That was her very first approach to The Lord of the Rings, even before the movies. She told me she was scared to death when she listened to it at night and the Názgul appeard. Of course she’d come to me with all kinds of questions and we chatted very happily. Later on she got the audiobooks read by Robert Inglis, I think, and she liked them too (before audiobooks, she’d have her sweet grandmother reading to her). I borrowed her audio play but later got my own as a present from my husband. I haven’t listened to them in a while but now that you mentioned them I feel like doing it again. ^^

A pin for each of the nine walkers would be wild.

I must have a Fangorn pin.

My vote is for anyone who's name can be a pin pun. Pinwe, Pindis, Pingon, Pinrod, Elu Pingol, Luthien Pinuviel, Pinduilas, Glorpindel, Curupin (or all seven of them with their father names), etc. I'll show myself out.
