Veeery rough sketch (first in a month)

I'm sorry for the serious lack of art around here lately - the artbook and t-shirt stuff has sucked up all my energy (plus, a lot of work at school). I've finally heard from the &?!§§ printer - they absolutely refuse to refund me anything. Which I expected, and the news was more infuriating than shocking, but still. I've deleted the company from my bookmarks. That'll teach them! Sigh. I haven't progressed very far with the new printing company; communication with them is pretty slow.

Here's a quick sketch for a rather interesting commission. It's for a horse owner who asked me to do a piece of their horse; I said I don't do animal portraits as such, but I could do it if I was allowed to make it a Tolkien piece? They requested Faramir, so here he is with his new horse. XD

Welcome to new Patron, Arcturus! :)

Well, I'm sorry about that. People like that don't deserve business. Lovely image.

As Laura said, it's their loss. But I can understand how that can infuriate you and you have every right to be upset. That new picture is looking great. Lucky horse owner!!

No more fretting over the printers, Jenny... it's their loss! Hope everything goes ok with the new printer. And I'm happy and excited about Faramir and his new horsie... I'm pretty sure it's going to be amazing. (I rescued an abandoned baby hummingbird about three weeks ago; I looked after him and fed him for a few days and then took him to an animal rehabilitation center. They publish videos of his progress once in a while. My Twitter followers named him Faramir, and the name suits him, since he's a fighter.) ^^

Saddened to hear about the printer. But that's one really pretty horse, even in rough sketch form.

Even though you expected them to do nothing, that is still such a rotten thing for them to do! I hope this new company is good, despite the slow communication! As I’m also starting school, I completely understand the time/energy drainer that it is. Best of luck in the new school year!

Meh this is whole printing business is so upsetting -_- they could at least do something - even a small thing - to make amends, if only to acknowledge something went wrong ! I understand how exhausting that must be fore you! anyway, this is a very promising Faramir! xx
