Possible D&Dormice designs; T-shirt input :)

Hey guys - wow, I'm floored by the success of those t-shirts! I feel so stupid for never opening a print-on-demand shirt shop before now. It's so good to be able to offer different designs, colours, sizes, and cuts - and not having to stock them!

Several people asked for more designs, and I'd love to hear what you'd love to see. The good thing with Teespring is that I can offer more designs, but I still want to avoid cluttering my shop with fifty designs, so I'd like to hear what sort of ideas you have.

Some thoughts of mine:

Some images of mine are better suited to shirt designs than others. Unfortunately, most of what I've drawn is not really suited. I spent hours yesterday cutting out the Druid and Barbarian from the backgrounds and tidying up the lines; the Cosplay mice work far, far better as they are inked rather than pencilled (easier to isolate from backgrounds) and have full shapes.

Oh, and one thing about colour choices! In case anyone has wondered why there are hardly any black T-shirts available: I tried the designs on all sorts of colours, and with the traditional media I use, they look best on dark mid-tones. The lines are always just slightly irregular, which is fine on blue, grey or dark red, but looks starkly jarring on black.

I'm also open for nerdy, funny suggestions. One shirt design I've always wanted to do was a book (obv., the Silmarillion) bearing the title, "Fëanor, no!" (It could have a slightly charred piece of paper on the back saying "Fëanor did nothing wrong).

Looking forward to your thoughts! =D

The pin designs would work well in that they're easy to separate from background. The problem with them is that they're too rough to be printed at T-shirt size, as they're planned to be reproduced at the size of an inch. I just tried it; I'm not happy with how they look.

I'd absolutely adore a shirt with the Silmaril pin designs - I think they'd look great as a sort of badge on a dark (red or blue?) background, no text necessary!

I love the Feanor no! idea too. And I really need that on a bookmark for when I'm re-reading the Silmarillion.
