Zoom tryout!

Hangouts! So, I have no idea whatsoever how to do Discord or Zoom meetings. Let's find out together. ;)
I've set up Zoom and have scheduled a meeting for Monday evening, 6 pm CET. The ID is 308 589 8298 , the password is sFzL5r. Did I do this right? We'll just hang out, and I'll see if my camera/webcam setup would potentially work.
I've also set up a Discord Server called JennyDolfenArt, but I have no idea how to find out the ID or stream there. I've done Zoom a few times without being puzzled by it, so right now, I'm very much leaning towards using Zoom for hangouts and/or workshops.

Future plans: I will start a workshop (of a kind yet to be determined) later this autumn (late October/November?), as soon as I have the hang of this. It will be available for the upper tiers, probably Union of Maedhros and above. Before that, I will do polls (open to at least Into the Forest and up) to determine what exactly we'll cover. I'm thinking a bimonthly thing, at a fixed time (it will very probably be in the early evening CET).
Changing your pledge: It's a good idea to wait before you change your pledge. A few of you have already seen that I've changed my Patreon campaign to accept annual memberships. Something that I haven't found out so far is whether you can downgrade an annual membership (I think you can't), or upgrade it (probably easier). So if you're thinking of turning annual, I'd advise waiting until I've got the tiers for workshops sorted out. If you have any problems, let me know, and we'll see if we can sort them out.
I'm slowly starting to ease into this so-called "new normal", and my art mojo is slowly returning. (About time for Inktober! I might make it a Mousetober. Or a Maedhrostober. Or just a Maedhrosmousetober, because what the heck!)

Maedhrosmousetober, I would really love! I'm planning to do Tolktober together with a friend of mine (she'll draw and I'll try a bit of haiku writing), but we still don't know... new normal is still very harsh for us in Mexico and things are getting a bit hard in the matter of free time...

2020-09-17 20:26:14 +0000 UTCBoth are conference/streaming platforms. Discord is like a chatroom (we tried it earlier today, it works fine!). Zoom will be (I hope) to do remote workshops - it's what the schools are using in pandemic times for classes!

If so, I think you need to create an invite and post the invite link here, or change the server's settings - I couldn't find it when I searched the name on Discord search. Edited to add: I'm glad to hear that your art mojo is returning, I hope you'll have enjoyable moments creating. Also I would love Maedhrosmousetober XD Or any of the others, too.
