Next year, I'll do a Dungeons&Dragons club at my school! The headmaster is cool with it (Me: "Have you ever heard of Fantasy Role-playing?" - Him: "Of course! I used to play Armageddon!") O_o Okay - so much for my well-thought out arguments for an RPG club! I've talked about it to some students and have a lot of them on board already. ("Role-playing club? No thanks, I'm already in the theatre club." - "No, not that sort of role-playing - it'll be Fantasy Role-playing." - "What - like Dungeons and Dragons?!" - "Not like Dungeons and Dragons... actual Dungeons and Dragons." - "Whoa! Count me in!" - "What?" - "She's doing a Dungeons and Dragons club!" - "Whaaaat? I'm in!" - "What's going on?" - Mrs Dolfen is doing a tabletop RPG club!" - "Oooh, I've been wanting to try that for ages!")
I had a great day yesterday. =D So cool to have a lot of students who knew about D&D, from Stranger Things or Big Bang Theory, and have been wanting to play but never found anyone who could show them. It'll be a fun year!
