Maedhros sketch for gouache

I'm totally in love with this. And scared silly, haha. I'll transfer this sketch to paper tomorrow, for my first ever gouache Maedhros. With my last few gouache sprees, I never even had the confidence to attempt a guinea pig Maedhros.

Let me just take the chance for a heartfelt "GO ALL OF US!" for this month's incredible Patron influx! I'm beyond happy to welcome twenty new Patrons (most of whom already got a "yay welcome" message from me) since the beginning of March. I'm thrilled to have you all, and hope you enjoy what you're seeing. :)

I'm also happy to announce that my art closet has won, and I have indeed tidied it up all the way to the bottom. This means I've gained access to some hitherto deeply buried sketchbooks and old homework planners, so I can finish MarchofMaedhros on a few delightfully cringey notes, haha. I also have to report that my feeling was correct, that there are very few unseen recent Maedhroses in any of my sketchbooks.

I was also surprised to find that I have filled six sketchbooks between 2005 (when I started my first sketchbook that was not a homework planner) and 2015 (when I started my Patreon), and ten sketchbooks between 2015 and 2021 (with two complete sketchbooks being filled in 2020). I think it's your good influence.
