Added 2021-05-06 06:13:08 +0000 UTCI did get a photo of her yesterday, too, but the photos looked so off-colour that I was afraid to show you, haha. The manu sent another one today, and this time I'm really excited! The sheen in her dress will look beautiful. (As with Tilion, I went for a large area of enamel for the pearly effect.)
I also did some gouache homework yesterday - some boring gradients that were harder to do than they look, and some face attempts, which show exactly how hard they were, ouch.
The biggest news of the day came this morning at 6 a.m.: As of today, Priority Group III can get their vaccine appoiments - that includes secondary school teachers. I was awake very eary and clicked the link my headmaster had sent round, not expecting ANYTHING, and was flabbergasted to see a screen with "pick your appointment" - stating TOMORROW.
So I did. And will get my first shot tomorrow.
I'm so excited I hardly know what to do with myself. Maybe try to paint Edoras as a landscale exercise. =D

I got my first shot a week ago, as a university lecturer, but from this week anyone can apply. Hopefully it will go faster now, so far the speed in Latvia has been outrageously slow, mainly due to a weird government attitude towards prioritization and also a failure to secure a sufficient amount of vaccines, even though there was an opportunity to do so.
