Once Upon a Haunted Forest #1
Added 2021-10-02 16:03:56 +0000 UTCWell, it's the second of October, and that means an Inktober theme comes to me in one blast!
It was several blasts, actually. One was a comment from Leo a few weeks back, suggesting "hares and horns" as an Inktober theme, and I had no idea I would take that so literally! The other was an art challenge put together by Kneeleyp and Moonbound.Studio on Instagram, who put out a prompt list of just ten prompts - one every three days - for the challenge "Once upon a haunted forest". The idea is to introduce a character (on the 1st of October) that then encounters things like Shadowy Friends, Dark Fay, Ghostly Animals, or Twinkling Pumpkins through the month. Some brainstorming with my daughter brought us Agnes the Woodrassling (German mythological animal, similar to a Jackalope) who dares to venture into a haunted forest. What will she find? We'll see! =)
As always, I hope you'll understand that for a monthly challenge like Inktober, I upload the art on social media on the same day as here! <3
