The County Fair (Final)

That's why she found it so odd when the crown she was presented with had feet decorations adorning it.
She was a little put off by it, but accepted her new crown graciously. However, once the crown touched her head, she felt a strange tingling in her mind. The world around her became fuzzy as her eyes glazed over. She couldn't understand what the judge was saying to her, but she obeyed regardless as she was lead out to the main pavilion.
Without any thought of her own, she sat down and presented her bare soles to the fair-goers. She was their queen, and it was her duty to please them as they gathered around. Some sniffed, others just ran their hand against her slightly moist soles, and moved on. A lot of people took pictures, some even nuzzling up against her feet and posing them for a selfie.
One man even waited till the crowd dispersed and gave the queen's toes a kiss, inhaling their sweet and musty scent before heading off to the Ferris Wheel.
