It's March! ... and Elanor is finished!

How many of you flipped to their new calendar page with a little flourish today? I know I did! =D

I finished Elanor yesterday and only find the time to post her today. I'm utterly in love with the textures again here - again, with my new-found technique! It makes me so happy.

Boy, I do hope that this year's going to pick up from now on. I had a very weird dentist's appointment today, after two months of toothache and absolutely no time, or will, to make an appointment. The doctor didn't find anything wrong. But that, apparently, was just what my tooth needed to hear. "Oh, everything's fine with me? Seriously? Okay, then I could just stop hurting, right?"
It might also have been the fact that she threatened my tooth with a root canal treatment if it didn't behave, and it seems one of these two things did the trick. That was pretty wild.

Another thing that was wild was me trying ChatGPT (an AI chatbot) yesterday. I'd been hearing a lot about it, and us teachers were just alerted to the possibility it might be used by students to write homework and other texts. My first thought was another though: ChatGPT is officially the coolest co-author in the world for RPG plots. I'm terrible at coming up with plots, links between events, and the like, and always use random generators for them - but this is way cooler, as the bot remembers all the plot points previously established and can connect and develop them.

I fed it all the details of my current RPG campaign - undead dragon, dragon cult, power-hungry wizard, disappeared sister of a PC, ancient bronze dragon in disguise and all - and it came up with the coolest plot twists and links if prompted right. There was one extremely weird moment when we were discussing the fate of the PC's sister, who had stumbled across some dangerous artifacts and was now being controlled by a mage wanting to learn more about how she found it, and suddenly, the chat bot - for the only time over a three-hour plotting session - apparently totally forgot we were talking about an RPG adventure with dragons and spells and suggested that this was a very dangerous turn of events and maybe I'd better report this to the authorities. I reminded it this was a Fantasy story, it apologised profusely, and we continued. @_@ SO WEIRD.

It's March! ... and Elanor is finished!

Happy March! I’ve always loved that Fingon piece - so much dynamic action, and such a cool angle! And Elanor is gorgeous - the Fair indeed. 🥰
