Orym demanding flowers (wip) and ACEO test

No, of course Orym doesn't demand. He just stands there quietly and hoping I'll notice he'd like them if he just looks wistful enough. =D

I went for peonies because they look absolutely spectacular and I finally managed to wrap my head around how they work, at least partially. I still have to idea where this is going stylistically, but here's a little wip shot for you! I rarely do those in digital media, because I always feel I have no idea what I'm doing and just tweak stuff left and right and back and forth (as opposed to traditional media, where I have a rough plan I follow).

I did a little test sheet for new ACEOs to see how they turn out at that size, with some of my favourite images from the last few years, and I'm always so amazed that printing images at a tiiiiiny sizes makes them extra cool. So this is what I hope to have for higher-level Patrons soon! <3 I'll have them printed on nice firm card stock, the same as my current prints.

And now I need to watch the footie! I don't talk about Bayer Leverkusen much here, but we're in the European semifinals for the first time in 35 years (longer than I've been a fan, which has been 33 years) so if anyone can spare a finger or two to cross (or a thumb to be pressed for the Germans), that would be greatly appreciated. =)

(I used to really take this seriously. Back in the early nineties, when there were way fewer matches on TV and I wasn't quite sure when exactly my team were playing, I used to spend hours on end with my thumbs locked inside my fists. Never try to cut bread that way, just as a helpful tip.) =D
