A propos things taking too long…
Added 2023-12-31 10:44:10 +0000 UTCOne reason why everything seems to take ages in Procreate at the moment is entirely my fault, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Every fifteen minutes while I'm drawing, I find myself thinking, "Now I'd like a brush that does… this." Or, "If my brush right here did this instead of that, that would be cool." And I make it, or I edit it. And suddenly another hour is gone. 😂
Just this morning, I woke up with another idea for a pencil brush, one that could be used for sketching lightly and then, without changing the tool but only applying more pressure, could double as an inking brush. It takes a little discipline but worked surprisingly well. Add a new dark-edged brush I made last week and a new smudging brush I made two weeks ago, and voilà - a fast but finished sketch!
Didn't look at the time, but I think it was under an hour.
