I hope you’re not tired of me waxing poetic over CSP yet?
This is a scene I really wanted to draw for over a year because it really broke my heart - Orym, freshly resurrected by Fearne, stumbles off shouting for help after being told that Laudna is dead and that they flipped a coin for his and Laudna's life. I imagine that moment brought him back to another time in his life when he was just as helpless.
I knew exactly what I wanted that scene to look like, and just didn't trust myself to draw a worm's eye view of a halfling and a bunch of devastated people in the background. If I’d tried to draw this - if I’d even pulled it off - it would have taken me a day of rough layouting and two days of sketching. This was just two hours of building the characters in CSP and about two more of sketching.

The entire trial-and-error process takes place in CSP, and only when the positioning and proportions are perfect do I take it to Procreate to sketch, with no repositioning or trying around. It's absolutely surreal. And I finally understand how a lot of comic art is possible in the first place!
