The big ol' sketch page featuring the mobile infantry suits and spooky psychic people is for a setting I started ruminating on during one of my more enthusiastic Stellaris-playing periods. It's supposed to be a sci-fi setting in which mankind reached an advanced period of psychic power-based technology where they were well on their way to being galactic hegemons before the unfortunate side effects of Psi-Tech started making people too insane to function, or too dangerous to live. Mankind slowly and painfully transitions to more analog/digitized tech for the sake of survival and the wise cult that once regulated all the Psi-tech leaves on a galactic spirit journey of sorts and are never seen again, leaving the rest of humanity to an uncertain future.
The other sketch is a nice pinup that should look reeaal cute once it's done!
Now get excited for next week, guys, because we're getting back to Dirtwater! We'll be starting with a cover page, but it should paint the coming Chapter nicely, and I look forward to getting to it!
