Slight Delay :(

The 1.31 release will be Sunday instead of Saturday. (8th instead of 7th of September). There's still a decent chance we'll make it Saturday night, but most likely it'll be Sunday morning.

I take a lot of pride in having releases on time and on a regular schedule. We've only had delays a few times in the years since we started, and usually just for a day or so. I really dislike long delays in projects I support, particularly when the delay is unmentioned and unexplained until after they're over... Which is why I'm letting you all know this on Tuesday before I'm even certain we'll be late at all.

The reason is that my wife scheduled a whole trip thing this Saturday, which she knew is release day because it's been the same schedule for years. When she told me yesterday, I was going to refuse, but then she started giving me a series of looks. Scary looks. I figure a delay due to hospitalization and/or jail would probably be longer than just going along with her plan, so here we are. 😅
