Light is a complex character, but generally - yup God complex sums him up well enough. He does have deep rooted strong ideas of justice, and quite a narcissistic personality , he is smart and a bit sociopathic. Generally tho I truly believe that if he did not touch that notebook, he d become a great high position member of society...however he did get access to unlimited power basically.
