The smirk Dan gave when she’s about to go to Russia tells me Gu is there in Russia. The world has to know that Gu is dead for his enemies to stop pursuing him. Dan goes to Russia more often for music. The fortune teller tells everything in present. All imply he’s alive. And the scene in ambulance is also indicative of dramatic non-death situation. It’s a fake death. But would’ve been nice to see them together in Russia

So many comical scenes, the ones that Wes loves and it's action-packed and unpredictable. The Glory is sooo goood, but I feel like it will traumatize Steph a little so maybe check it out after she gives birth perhaps so she won't stress out so much. LOL Atty Woo is Ok, but some episodes/cases are boring, repetitive and predictable in my opinion. Other reactors said the same. I finished the series just cause I feel like I needed to. Alchemy, Goblin, Ok not to Be Ok are good shows too!

Also, I find the ending for Dan to be quite refreshing especially in a kdrama, in the sense that you can still find happiness while being single at the end, it suits her character as a strong independent woman.

Goblin is another great kdrama that's one of the classics, it has mixture of fantasy/ drama/ action, and it touches on theme about determinism and human will. If you want to try something a bit different, I highly recommend Extraordinary Attorney Woo, its not a romance-focused drama (though it still have romance), but talks about a lawyer with autism spectrum disorder, and its a very meaningful and entertaining drama

She wasted 10 years waiting for a man who didn't want her, now she is free to discover who she is and do what she wants with her life. You can see she was happy at the end. 2023-05-09 00:39:14 +0000 UTCI too was in denial of Gu Sueng Jin’s death lol. It’s funny seeing how hard you guys were trying to deny it but he did die unfortunately. The ending feels so bittersweet. For your next drama, I really recommend Vincenzo! It’s technically like a mafia, heist, vigilante kind of storyline, but the comedy and relationships sell it. The side characters are precious and give the same comedic vibes as all the North Korean soldiers and villager ladies lol. Meanwhile it’s a lot more action and plot heavy but I think it has the best female lead character writing ever as in she’s such a chaotic force of nature. Romance isn’t the main focus but it’s definitely there and you can really see them falling in love over time! It’s literally the funniest kdrama I’ve seen this year and I’d really love to watch it with you guys! All the acting especially the villain and main leads are so incredibly good too!

Next, I recommend Hometown Cha Cha Cha ( romance between a female dentist and the guy who works every job in the small town with interesting and funny characters,) or Itaewon Class (an inspirational drama about a guy who suffers injustice and loss but keeps his morale principles, choose good over evil type of drama, also he tries to gets his revenge and it's some romance also ) .

2023-05-08 21:38:15 +0000 UTCI think the Federal agents came off as so gentle because when it comes to North Koreans, they try to treat them really kindly when they defect because they go through really traumatic situations and give up a lot so by the time they make it, they're really scared and unsure, so I'm sure it's in their training to be a little more gentle even if they suspect they could be spies. I'm sure they don't treat normal criminals so gently.

2023-05-08 21:11:49 +0000 UTCRecommendations for the Next Drama: - Hotel Del Luna (I think would really really fit Stephs interests, with modern life and also magic, but also flashbacks to historical stuff, it focuses on a hotel set in the inbetween between life and death, and people can only move on to the afterlife once they have had a issue or grudge they have left in life sorted out, and it also has such an interesting plot that I think you both would really like and it has some of the most beautiful shots from a drama and cinematography. The Singer IU Is the main female character, and one of Jungkooks close friends is the main Guy) . - Hometown Cha Cha Cha (Such a feel good show with such an incredible group cast of people and the storyline is both heartwarming but also has its surprises and twists- It has the Actress who played Ok-Geum in it who plays a similar role of a nosey neighbourhood person) . - Extraordinary Attorney Woo (The main actress is incredible, and the stories within it are really interesting) . - Twenty Five Twenty One (A heartwarming drama which also gives you insight in South Korea in the late 90s)

2023-05-08 20:30:46 +0000 UTCWe've finally came to an end… I'm gonna miss them so much… for the next watch I would recommand something different. - Its okay not to be okay has more comedy and also has more of a thriller and dark theme. there's also that one guy who made a cameo (he's the lead in this one ) - itaewon class or The Glory. There one are very heavy and are about revenge. The glory is darker and Itaewon class. Itaewon class is more… "inspirational" ? if that's even the right word haha - What's wrong with secretary kim ? is more relax and comedy-oriented drama, very light hearted, nothing heavy. Also the sense of humour will be more understandable for k-drama beginners. - Vincenzo is the kdrama to go if you want something with action and fight scenes. Even tho it may be dark, it has a lot of comical scenes to it. - Taxi driver, is a good drama to recommand too. It has 2 seasons so if you're looking for something short, it's not the one. However I would still like to recommand it because there's sub plots in it (like american criminal tv shows)

2023-05-08 20:07:18 +0000 UTCYea seung-joon did die in that ambulance and the reason Dan smiled at the end there was because it’s been over a year since his death and I think it was just a sign of her slowly healing and getting better, because after his death we saw her cry a lot and then we finally see that she might be happy now even if he is not with her…physically at least. Also omg y’all should 100% do Vincenzo, I feel like it is a good second drama considering what the first one you guys watched was.
