2023-05-08 18:29:45 +0000 UTCwhat actually happened In the little break they had was Jimin and Jungkook went on a trip to Tokyo together, I hope you watch Jungkoks GCFs soon, you could do them all in one video, GCF Tokyo is absolutely my favourite one because we get to see Jimin and Jungkooks relationship and Jimin didn't know Jungkook was going to post the video because it was the first GCF he did, Jungkook also said it was really the only GCF he could do completely freely and with no restrictions

It cracks me up everytime I see the footage of the girls walking out of the event sorta smelling their hands haha one piece of funny BTS lore is that some members use really nice smelling handcream for these handshake events out of politeness, I remember a lot of people raving specifically about Jimin using a peach smelling cream that would linger for a couple of hours and that his hands are really soft haha

The fanclub rules here specifically state not causing any disturbances that might impede the viewing experience of other concert goers and that you might be escorted out and banned so that's a big incentive to kinda ride the wave of the crowd's mood even for me as a non Japanese person who likes to enjoy more like the Brazilians do. Still Japanese fans are passionate and many. My Japanese boss and I are both crossing our fingers for SUGA's concert but the competition is wild. At least there's no reselling tickets in Japan and it's a lottery system so everyone gets a fair chance and a fair price

He's a man not an actress lol, and he's someone Jin described as enchanting in his role 'bidam' of the hit show 'Queen Seondeok' They're close friends now and Nam-gil even made an appearance in Jins 'alcohol journey' show on yt before he enlisted, I hope you check it out eventually, it has four episodes and is super cute https://youtu.be/ekrBiWe1qFU

2023-03-12 00:36:07 +0000 UTCto your dialect/accent question: In my opinion accents are purely phonetical. An accent just makes a difference on how someone pronounces a word compared to someone else. Dialects however is when you say standard language words differently, have your own words and slangs that people who grew up with the same language as you but not the same dialect won't understand. So yeah dialects are kind of languages within a language and accents are just melody and pronounciation in my understanding of them.

2023-03-12 00:10:01 +0000 UTCThey do a lot of exclusive things just for the Japanese audience that it's hard for the world wide audience to see. It's hardly ever translated, so you have to find people that have translated it and then find where it's posted. I have no idea why it can't be inclusive to everyone. ๐คทโโ๏ธ They (Big Hit at the time, and the other labels) are also very specific in their marketing to Japan as well. You'll see a lot of the cutesy things they (BTS and other groups) do is very high in that market. In interviews and games. I guess the audience for that stuff is high there. (Though for the rest of the world it's not a good marketing scheme). It's why girl groups tend to have some of the biggest followings in Japan. Its also the market they do a lot of their ballads with a high key. I don't recall a dance or hiphop song that's exclusively Japanese that they've done. Just the translated ones from Korean.

2023-03-11 22:17:07 +0000 UTCI'm excited for this comment because I can finally share my personal experiences in Japan lol The way Wesley described concerts in Japan sounds like a morgue ๐ but actually, just because they're more respectful doesn't mean they're dead silent with golf clapping either. It just means that they don't wanna jump on each other and scream through all the songs and irritate those around them who may be trying to listen. They enthusiastically shake the light sticks and cheer and chant like pros at pop concerts. However the concerts I've been to in Japan are Vkei and let me tell you, I got my ass handed to me at the underground vkei shit. They have organized dances called furifuri or furitsuke. My foreign arse knew about the hand gestures but not the dances so I literally got railed over by a line of Japanese girls doing the crazy spinning and dancing. I think the differences culturally are respect. I respectfully shouldn't have been up front because I didn't know the dances and got in a lot of people's way and that's how it was. Fans of one band would be allowed to move to the front while casual fans or listeners moved to the back to sit down. The people in the back would be annoying if they screamed toward the front because people in the back just wanted to listen. Meanwhile the front had crazy catcalls like something out of horror movies ๐คฃ a roared "kakaka" kind of thing. It's really more fun than people think. More intimate. As for pop or solo concerts, I think everyone is just being mindful of the hive and working in sync so everyone can have a good time, rather than giving some people bad experiences by screaming through the entire thing or jumping on each other.
