2023-06-20 20:08:11 +0000 UTCthe editing for this season was all over the place and cutting out things and putting things in weird orders, so many times jimin and jungkook were doing something together in the background but how it was edited you would never know

2023-04-17 19:00:32 +0000 UTCMexican Horchata is a rice/milk/cinnamon/sugar drink. I make mine with evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk. Some people even add fruit like strawberries. When they were making the Hwachae, it kinda reminded me of the fruit Horchatas or even Agua Frescas.
Dani
2023-04-09 20:36:16 +0000 UTCin addition ie is for when your referring to a person in third person like jiminie did this and the ah sound is when your talking directly to the person like namjoonah will you do this for me
megha shankar
2023-04-06 18:59:41 +0000 UTCHaha just so you know when it sounds like their cursing in English, like a "sh-" sound for shit, it's usually actually a Korean curse word (shibal) for fuck, but they aren't pronouncing the whole thing!
Mia Fisher
2023-04-04 17:08:36 +0000 UTCI heard it was affection. Because joon once said that he loves it when people call him with his name + ie at the end
Isha

2023-04-02 16:35:36 +0000 UTC'ie' isnt really for affection, 'ah' is. the 'ie' is grammatical
Lachie
2023-04-02 15:09:52 +0000 UTCalso wondering
Lachie
2023-04-02 14:32:04 +0000 UTCthey did not have schedules last time, yes they wrote down some points for themselves but they did not even follow them
Kai-Riin Kanarbik
2023-04-02 10:54:56 +0000 UTCThere is another version to this affection which is by adding 'ah' at the end. This is only done by elders to youngers. For eg: jimin-ah, jungkook-ah, namjoon-ah, taehyung-ah
Isha
2023-04-02 05:23:49 +0000 UTCThe 'ie' that they add at the end of names is a sign of affection. Even the younger ones can add it. For eg namjoon-ie hyung, seokjinnie hyung, jungkook-ie, taehyung-ie
Isha
2023-04-02 05:19:00 +0000 UTC56:32 I've been waiting for Wes' reaction to that moment ever since he mentioned how much he liked sassy Jimin :D 😂

2023-04-02 01:47:41 +0000 UTC47:36 you guys should watch Jin's gaming livestream where he just struggles and suffers for 3 hours 😂😂

2023-04-02 01:37:03 +0000 UTCChapagetti is the instant version of black bean noodles jajangmyeon. Really good, especially when you mix it with Neoguri ramen and mix the sauces (Chapaguri) You can see that made in the Korean movie Parasite!

2023-04-02 01:08:00 +0000 UTCI love watching in the soop with u guys it's so rewarding after a tiring day, also here's a little tip: sometimes you guys talk over some dialogue that answers your questions which is completely fine cause it can happen to anybody tbh but when I see you guys being genuinely curious and start talking over the clip or the dialogue you miss the text or the answer for a second which always makes me laugh lol. just make sure if you have a question or a story or want to talk just pause it I like hearing ur guys conversations but it's distracting when the actual clip is playing. sorry if this sounds rude btw 😅

2023-04-02 00:24:06 +0000 UTCI also know someone who died on an ATV and someone else who was in a coma for a while after an accident. I've rode one before but after those two experiences I don't know that I would be comfortable riding another one. Also on a lighter note the Korean f word starts with an "sh" sound so a lot of times when you hear them make that sound it's them cutting off the curse.

2023-04-01 22:29:31 +0000 UTCI think they said dessert simply because it was the last course of the meal, they ate the same ramen as usual

2023-04-01 21:50:38 +0000 UTCThank you again for making my Saturdays better💜 Unfortunately my hard drive broke today and I lost 8 years of pictures/videos/documents (because I didn't have a backup) and I've been really devastated the whole day and still can't quite comprehend it. I'm glad I saved my research data to a different place just a few days ago so I'm super glad for that but also extremely sad for losing so many memories. This definitely cheered up my night. Hopefully tomorrow will be more kind.

2023-04-01 21:32:01 +0000 UTCJust have to say, I tried making hwachae and it is actually so refreshing and tasty! It's my go-to way of eating watermelons now :)
bmystee
2023-04-01 20:14:44 +0000 UTCin korean, generic "ramen" is pronounced and spelled "ramyeon"
Carmen Johnson
2023-04-01 20:07:52 +0000 UTCIs there no youtube reaction today? its okay if there isn't just wondering

2023-04-01 19:18:22 +0000 UTCYou guys should check out your local Asian grocery store and see if they have a drink called “Milkis”.It’s basically a carbonated milk soda that they recreated here and it’s surprisingly really good. There’s also another drink that’s very similar called “Calpis” (flavoured ones) that you should give a try if you’re curious.

2023-04-01 19:17:34 +0000 UTCfun fact Korean usually ends a meal especially barbeque with either fried rice on the grill or ramens
Michella Lewis
2023-04-01 19:17:33 +0000 UTCit's firstly a subject marker, so whenever the members talk about what a member is doing, they'll attach the "ie" if the member's name ends in a consonant or a "ga" like for Yoongi.
Carmen Johnson
2023-04-01 18:59:23 +0000 UTCThere's a thing in my home country called Coke float. Basically it's coke with a sundae or coke w/ a vanilla ice cream. You can do it in root beer too. It's good but sinful.
Lorraine Hernandez
2023-04-01 18:19:39 +0000 UTCi mean the only comparison i can make that we have in the US is like root beer float? like soda with ice cream
Angela
2023-04-01 18:14:27 +0000 UTCcarbonated milk made me think of root beer floats people be eating here in the US
Charmaine
2023-04-01 17:55:47 +0000 UTCSomeone else in the comments explained a bit about the "ie" sound behind Taehyung. Listen to how the older ones say the younger names....Jiminie, Taehyungie, Junggukie. Or for Rm it's Joonie. If they are the same year mates or friends, you'll here Hoba (for Jhope) or Jiminah, Yoongi-ah, Namjoonah. And Jin, is usually Jin hyung
Marissa K
2023-04-01 17:44:14 +0000 UTCWith the way they say each other's names. In Korean for younger or same age friends a lot of time you will an 'ee' sound on the end as a sign of affection, the same way they add hyung to the end of the older one's names. i.e. Taehyungie, Jiminie, Jungkookie, Namjoonie or Jinhyung, Hobihyung, Sugahyung, Sometimes they will also do just an "ah" sound at the end too (sometimes you'll hear RM call J-hope "Hoba") It's not quite an honorific the way hyung is but as a way to show closeness and affection.
Jillian Johnson
2023-04-01 17:41:54 +0000 UTCIf you've had soda floats, it's the same. Or there are cocktails that put soda water and cream together, like a Paralyzer. It's not an actual weird thing. You should try it. It's quite good, but I find I need it super cold.
Marissa K
2023-04-01 17:36:26 +0000 UTCOMG YES. "Yo, yo" "Check it" Still funny. 😭 I do hope they don't miss any more
Lana
2023-04-01 17:32:22 +0000 UTCIce cream soda...root beer floats...these are sodas into which you add ice cream. I don't like them personally, but they were popular at the ice cream shop at which I worked.
Phyllis St. Pierre
2023-04-01 17:32:02 +0000 UTCLOL It must have been the "wrap" joke. Honestly I think at this point they mostly watch what the guys are doing on screen only and catch about 60% of the dialogue.
Infinite Ree
2023-04-01 17:26:35 +0000 UTCYes, the ie in Taehyung*ie* was just an addition, as he's younger or as an expression of endearment, but you would just call him Taehyung otherwise.
Aly
2023-04-01 17:23:00 +0000 UTCI tried making what they did to the watermelon and its gooood.
