So the reason for the black jersey jackets and the crow nicknames is because "Karasu" in their school name/team "Karasuno" means "crow/raven." Soon there will be another school with neko "cat" in the name so the show plays on the imagery โบ๏ธ

You both seem to be enjoying the sports anime vibes, so I just wanted to suggest one called Kuroko's Basketball or The Basketball Which Kuroko Plays. It's also a high school sports anime (except about basketball as I'm sure you've guessed ๐) but it takes more of an unrealistic and dramatic route when it comes to the characters' skills and the actual games. There are a lot of really awesome characters that are very easy to get attached to and some super interesting plot points - I believe it's on Netflix! Just a suggestion ๐
