There's another anime I thought would be like a typical sports anime but it wrecked my soul. I'd recommend it but they never finished the series. It got dropped and might not come back, but it's called Stars Align.. gods it's a painful one to watch and hits too close to home in some aspects. So to echo what Brooklyn says, sports anime are not all just sports anime lol they have so much character building

But this show shows that the pain of losing or just tough times in general is not something to be ashamed of. Instead we learn and we live on. We are all protagonists in the end :) also nishinoya being a ride or die friend makes him my fav on our squad
