Frieren Episode 11

Comments

Thing to remember is that the demon king ordered the death of all elves it was likely not just that one village

Joshua Gilbert

Pretty sure Frieren destroy the scales after defeating Aura so no one could use it for evil purposes again

Math Rick

That's awesome, I hadn't even noticed. So many cool details to enjoy on rewatches

Dan

One of my favourite subtleties in the show is how the longer they stay in the hut the more people that start praying. Even frieren joins in the end when previously she would just start eating. Then she stops herself from saying his already dead and instead says he's already in heaven

Doug Oliver

😳😳

Wes And Steph

Cant forget Toji, Zeke and most importantly DIO

Sensei Senpai

more dictionary entries :) Kraft means power or strength schwer means heavy or difficult, depending on the context

Lela

Kraft's voice is the same as the Post Office President in Violet Evergarden, the red haired father figure

Ryo

Yeah, Kraft is an elf that looks like a middle-aged man and calls Frieren young, and Frieren looks like a young teen, or thereabouts (she could just be petite, but honestly I believe she's essentially a teenager in elf years). Imagine how long Kraft must have lived if Frieren is over a thousand.

Derp

Kraft asking who Frieren is felt like he was referencing their very long life spans. When he asked who Frieren was, Fern responded saying she's the mage from the party of heroes. But that was only 10 years of her life that happened only 80 years ago. That is a miniscule fraction of her over 1000 years alive. Which is why Kraft asked "and before that?", it seemed like he was asking who Frieren truly is as an ancient elf, instead of the very recent legacy as a member of the party of heroes that all the humans define her by.

Doccyy

name of the song that was played during the little montage is called "Bliss" sang by "Milet"... one of my favorite Japanese singers!!! She also sings the outro song of the series called "anytime anywhere."
