2024-07-11 20:39:37 +0000 UTCI could be reading too much into it but when the priest say he prefers the God who “made booze” it might be a clever reference to Jesus turning water into wine. Without giving spoilers, I feel like the priest is very underrated as a character in this show so I would urge you to pay attention to what he says / does even if he is repulsive. And more generally the depiction of Christianity contrasted with the Nordic Religion is also one of my favorite aspects as well.
