And the more Shonen/isekai they watch, it will only attract more members that are looking for those shows. I don't think they will react to other genres of anime anytime soon

2024-07-26 05:33:39 +0000 UTCThey actually (in japanese) explain it to what you said in a number of episodes when Subaru is thinking back on it... Only, the subtitles translates it wrongly (those from Crunchyroll at least) and instead we get a nonsense reason.. ^^;

And btw you asked what was he even doing in the slums, that suspicious lingering eye shot was him being simultaneously suspicious of and worried for subaru, so he went to check what was going on in the loothouse

2024-07-24 21:29:37 +0000 UTCI am an anime only watcher, and as far as I've seen (at least not that I've noticed, I'm not very observant) they haven't really outright explained why she used the name Satella. I have a theory though; for a lot of their exchanges in these first two episodes she was trying to get him to stop trying to help her/leave her alone, so she used a very taboo name to try to scare him off, but she was taken aback when he wasn't.
