2024-06-20 23:48:29 +0000 UTCI predict Wes and Steph getting crazy conspiracy theories about Thorkell and Thors thanks to the comments. 🤣 Nordic/Viking history lesson time: The naming mechanism in the Germanic Tribes was that since they believe names hold power and grant the body part of the soul of a previous owner of a name, you see a lot of people with one part of their name being after the God the parents wish to imbue, or part of an ancestors name, and the other part would be a feature or quality they think they possess. In my case I was given a name of 2 ancestors Alexander, (Alexandra) and Minna, (from the Germanic Tribes and Norse) and my last name is Jensen (Son of Jens of the Danes)
