Eventually I made more friends through the sport so I stayed, more so to just hang out. And then it kind of developed into a love for the sport itself where I wanted to train more and get better, regardless if my friends would quit. I ask myself if it could've been any sport, that I then would grow to love, or not.. I'll never know but I guess it doesn't really matter
