I mean its good for what it is, but this adaptation by ufotable is going above and beyond with what it was given. This episode was way more epic then it should've been.

2024-08-15 02:06:13 +0000 UTCApparently the spikes that trapped Muzan and let tamayo inject the poison into him is the blood demon art of the guy that got turned into a demon by muzan in public as a distraction, all the way back in season 1 when tanjiro confronted him after smelling his scent, tamayo turned the guy back into a human but not fully, allowing him to survive off a few drops of human blood that he could just get at blood banks

When Zenitsu gets into serious mode, even as he’s falling head first into infinity castle, you know shit’s about to go down. Muzan has always singled Tanjiro out as “the boy with hanafuda earrings” so he definitely feels some kind of connection with him, maybe something to do with his ancestry. Also, Ubuyashiki is so cold, he’s a Muzan hater to the core lmaooo. Exploding yourself with your wife and kids is crazy.

2024-07-03 22:06:23 +0000 UTCI Definetly get that like an example I can think of right now is when tanjiro is falling and he’s like “I will defeat you muzan!” and muzan quite literally says “I’d like to see you try!” It’s like that corny cliche hero phrase😭

2024-07-03 21:25:26 +0000 UTCthe whole arc felt pretty "filler" tbh, im glad they kept it somewhat short and put some extra resources into the last episodes which delivered hard. its just insane how good quality art, animation and sound can bring the source material to the next level in anime if done right. possibilities are sheer endless with something like the infinity castle

2024-07-03 21:05:39 +0000 UTCThe animation is great, the compositing is amazing, the characters are enjoyable, and the story is definitely very simple but the way its told is entertaining. My only issue with demon slayer is the Dialogue. It's often the same stuff repeated or kind of cringy. However this ep had none of that. The dialogue between Muzan and Ubayashiki was so well done

2024-07-03 20:43:28 +0000 UTCI really appreciate that even after Rengoku died, the show refuses to forget about him. That last Taisho secret made me tear up too! Also if you go back to the first few episodes, they were saying it was odd that demon sightings had really gone down & were too quiet. Muzan was having all demons gathering at the infinity castle just for this moment. If I ever questioned Ubuyashiki being related to Muzan, I sure didn't after his final moments. That amount of calmness & the facts he was spitting made me anxious. The man scared Muzan! And don't be too scared about the infinity palace, remember Tanjiro is using sun breathing which Muzan is also scared of. It slows down regeneration & hurts like the sun. So Tanjiro is the little ball of sun that hopefully burns Muzan into his isekai AU!

2024-07-03 19:28:05 +0000 UTCI am so glad that unlike the TikTok kids saying the story and animation are bad because the animation gets carried by “compositing” (even tho that’s used on the background and effects and not the animation of the characters) and that the story is “bland” and “cookie cutter” you guys actually really see the story and tense emotions that the show really is this episode and the entertainment district arc are in my top 4 episodes of all time of any show I’m with Steph in this is one of the best episodes of anything I’ve ever seen.
