Bts Summer Package In Coron Island, The Philippines (2017)

Comments

And yes, generally, summer in the Philippines is really hot and very humid. 🥵

I am Vixen

Just finished watching this. I'm from the Philippines and had been to Coron before. The best time to go there to avoid melting is winter season so Dec. to late Feb.-early March. It's also when Coron gets the most foreign tourists. I guess a lot are trying to avoid the cold winter. 😅

i'm surprised you guys didn't get to make picture diaries in school! :0 in primary school in the UK, (idk if they still do it) but the younger years deffo do picture diaries for homework sometimes. i remember making one during my spring break! they usually just tell the kids to make a journal entry each day and term breaks are usually a week or two weeks so its 7 to 14 pictures and entries. also, as for the pictures taken for the pictorial, they usually get printed into a book, so the people buying the summer package get this video as a DVD as well as the book with all the photos and other inclusions!

kiyo

Jungkook’s documentary “I am still” just came out on Disney plus! I hope you guys can react to it soon

I love content like this where they just get to relax and be themselves 🥰 Also JK really is a beast! Lol crouching on the wakeboard like he was and managing to hold on against the force of the boat, my word. As for the nightmare topic and mention of PTSD, I'm actually diagnosed with CPTSD which as far as I know, mainly has to do with the duration of repeated traumas that compound each other, so I do wonder how it differs from PTSD with symptoms like night terrors and "flashbacks" (which is such a cheesey and inaccurate name, but the easiest to use lol) For me, honestly considering 98 out of 100 nights I have night terrors, as horrible and gruesome as they are, I think I've gotten used to the fact I have night terrors? Kinda like if you know a jump scare is coming, it's still a little creepy, but not as bad as the first time? So I theorize that it's far worse when you don't often have nightmares, but you get that one bad one, vs if you have constant horrible ones. However, the flashbacks are much more insidious for me. To anyone else, it looks like I'm thinking/daydreaming, but if I'm triggered, I'll experience seeing a very realistic scenario that isn't just about past trauma, but very likely events that could happen at the moment, or be about to happen, relating to the trauma, and it will be soooo real. I can hear, taste, feel, and see it, and my body will respond as if I'm living through it, so going into fight/flight/freeze mode and occasionally small reactions (not full on acting like I'm in battle like u see in movies) like I might start crying, or flinch/wince, jerk, that kind of thing. The "flashback" usually actually happens really quickly, but it takes me ages to settle after the fact. If it's too real, I'll have to check and re-check that it didn't happen to reassure myself, and my panic attacks I can have often take around an hour for me to settle down. At least nightmares are often exaggerated and surreal to separate from reality (not always, but usually) but the living nightmares we call flashbacks can be so real and so horrible, it's almost like subjecting yourself to new traumatic events. But that's what my experience with night terrors, waking nightmares/flashbacks as someone with CPTSD is like. Curious if someone experiences them differently? Mine is from a few compounded issues, but the main source is from being in a domestic abuse environment for my entire life that had ups and down periods of activity, kind of simulating a war zone, so I have a lot of symptoms based around hearing things smashing and crashing, screaming, yelling, r*pe, mutilation and beating of animals, which my brain also translates towards happening happening to my mom sometimes.. so I might experience more auditory or sensory hallucinations from my flashbacks than other people, making them worse than night terrors, where I just see a lot of my father turning into monsters or the aftermath of a killing, that kind of thing, so someone else might experience worse night terrors than flashbacks 🤔 (Also, because anytime I bring this up, I get sympathetic comments.. I really appreciate the thoughts, but there's no need to say things like "I'm so sorry you experience that" and such. I'm not trying to garner sympathy or anything 😅 I bring this up usually to compare my experiences and thinking to a topic, to provide context to what my world view is, or to spread awareness or things I learned that might help someone else, or because I have a fundamental interest in psychology and I often treat myself as a case study 😂 or to say "this is what I been through/am going through, so I really appreciate all you do, BTS and Wes and Steph get me through so much" so I really appreciate the comments, but I also feel a little awkward about them so unless you feel really compelled, please feel free to respond to the topic of my comment as if I'm not subject of it. Talking about it like it's normal helps me process 💜)

Chels

Yes, that would be awesome. It is on Disney+ and called 'I am still' 💜💜💜

speaking of heat, i remember when i was still living in the Philippines as a kid that we usually had a handkerchief/small towel to put on our back and an extra one for our face because of how much we sweat from the heat. at some point, you get used to dealing with it, but i remember going home from school one time during midday for lunch with my stomach aching, the muggy weather and the sun beating down on my body made the walk home so miserable😭

I don't know if its just an issue on my side or everyone's But your voices were way low as compared to the video. So I wasn't able to hear to your commentary well 🥺

If you want to watch law of the jungle, Jin's episodes are on Weverse (paid content), just have to wade through the ocean of media that's uploaded there

We do not have spring or fall. The Philippines has two main seasons: rainy and dry: Rainy season: June to November Dry season: December to May The dry season is further divided into a cool dry season from December to February, and a hot dry season from March to May. Filipinos often use the term "summer" to refer to the hot and dry months of March to May. Our year-round temperatures ranging from 78°F (25°C) to 90°F (32°C). The mean annual humidity is 83%. We also have typhoons around September-November.

민비

Maybe we thought barracudas are scary because of what happened on Nemo.

민비

29:25 The Philippines has 7,641 islands during low tide and 7,107 during high tide

민비

It's hot here when it's summer and very humid 🥹 best to visit Philippines around December-March.

민비

This is my country my beloved Philippines, unfortunately I don't know them when they went here. Law Of The Jungle is a variety show in Korea where celebrities survive in an uninhabited island. Jin participated in 3 episodes you should react to it.

민비

This was so much fun by the way jk documentary just came out I hope you wil watch it

ly1111

After the military...they would all be able to survive. Those military survival exercises are nuts! Steph, if pineapple burns, you're either getting one's that are off or you may be allergic. They should be sweet with some sour or acidic.

Marissa K

Been here last March, truly an amazing place. 🏝️

Thank you for the reaction. Also fyi. Run Jin is back. New episode dropped today.

I would actually put Suga, Jin and JK as the top three who would survive fine on a deserted island. I think that they have the practical knowledge to find food and create shelter, etc. Suga would not enjoy it but he would be fine. Jin would be fine if he can fish. I would be the most worried about RM and Jhope 😂 I can’t imagine them fishing or trying to catch wild animals for food. They would be too tender hearted or squeamish to kill it. Also, if you are interested, Jin was in the first 4 or 5 episode of a show called Law of the Jungle. I can’t remember which season, I think back in 2017? Someone pls correct me. And they did try to survive on an island with barely anything (I think all they got on the first day was a bottle of water).

J Mae

Love from the PH right here 🫶🏼
