He may be an absolute weirdo and needs to be locked up, but damn his nen ability is cool. Bungee Gum is such a simple ability on paper but Hisoka seems to make it far more potent than people would first believe. I just like the simple ability, smart user type of characters. Aside from his freak side, the complexities of his character are so cool and interesting to me. Unfortunately, some of my favorite moments from him are in the manga and haven't been animated yet so fingers crossed one day you guys get to see what I mean!

2024-12-20 13:50:38 +0000 UTCKillua’s life from childhood is way too extreme, the fact that Gon is keeping up with him by pure talent, hard-work , and being an Island kid hunter/fisherman to provide for his family, has always been since I was a kid watching the 1999 HxH version, something that inspired awe in me of Gon’s character, his growth and potential.

A lot of people just conclude he's only being a faker like the blue guy by putting on a fake spider tat and lying to people when no, he is definitely an official member to them else pink hair would definitely not be inviting him to their private gathering like that. But hisoka personally is just going along with it all because of his own selfish reasons and doesn't consider himself a true member

Hisoka isn’t aware of the audience (us) - he was just chatting with a work colleague. :) If you aren’t watching that scene for the first time and really think about it, it’s actually hilarious how they explain every little action in the simplest way possible, even though both of them are Nen experts.

2024-12-19 21:55:06 +0000 UTCNice Guy Hisoka List Addition: didn’t do anything necessarily beneficial to Gon & Friends this episode, but made sure to help out the audience (us) by explaining every aspect of his fight while getting his arms healed! Also Note: recent chapters of HxH continue to delve further and further into Nen, there’s a lot to take in, & this arc is probably one of the biggest info dumps in the series, so don’t stress too much if you’re ever overwhelmed by it. Just know it’s one of the most in depth & well thought out power systems out there, & it’s influenced a lot of what came after it.
