The problem is they don't really treat him like a part of the family - just more of like an employee or functional accessory tbh. He's not being listened to unless it benefits them. And I think he expects that from the family but maybe not from Hae In. Hence the resentment.

2025-01-11 00:24:15 +0000 UTCNow that you bring it up, the actor who played "Jae Joon" (lol) actually said he doesn't want to play villain roles anymore after he did this show. He said ppl start to view him as a bad guy (like when they run into him irl or on socials) because of how well he portrays his characters, so he wants to try other roles. You'll likely see him in another role in the near future (since it was highly ranked on the last kdrama poll), but I won't spoil the surprise

And we have Hyunwoo who had to leave his own comfort to be with her but she just turns out to be as cold and crazy and unappreciative as the rest of her family (or seems to be). I think they both just feel alone and they’re not communicating that to each other.
