Solo Leveling S2 Episode 2

I know it’s an old episode but I just had to say. You guys keep saying ‘before he goes to far’ or that he might start killing people just for power but thats literally exactly what he just did. Kim was not a threat to him at all, not even a minor one. He’s so not a threat the system doesn’t even consider him an enemy like the humans in the past. So now we don’t have the excuse of ‘the system made me do it’ or self defense like the other kills. Not only is Jinwoo killing of his own free will, be planned it, and gave us the reason why. When he’s fighting Barca he said he needed more power. He lets Kim grab his weapon back and charge him, he uses the snow to cover what he’s about to do, one to hide he can extract people but also so the others don’t see how Kim dies. Kim even realizes at the killing blow that his murder was planned. Our boy is setting himself up as an Antihero willing to premeditatedly murder for power of his own free will if he thinks it’s necessary. Which I think is great Antiheroes and characters like them are some of my favorite stories.

2025-11-29 04:22:24 +0000 UTCYou guys NEED to watch Sister leveling. They’re comical abridged versions of this series. And it’s fucking hysterical. It’s super short. Maybe like 20-30 minutes for all the episode so far.

2025-01-21 01:20:03 +0000 UTCConcerning the morality issue with Hunter Kim (Iron): I've heard that some people consider the human being to consist of three parts, the body (physical), the soul (personality), and the spirit (the essence of being, the "pilot", what we normally would consider 'the soul'). It helped me feel better considering what is left behind of Kim to be the body and soul (aka the physical form and the base level personality etched into the brain in that body), while the spirit (essence) moved on.

2025-01-18 08:45:17 +0000 UTCIn the WEBTOON, Sun Jin Woo confirms he’s weaker than the saber tooth guy but he estimates he’s atleast low S rank now

2025-01-16 05:57:26 +0000 UTCOh yeah, I agree. It definitely can fit his character, after everything that happened. I meant questionable in the sense that he was actually the bad guy afterward, without a doubt. Before his group got wiped out, he was already perceived as the "bad guy", but you could at least understand why he made those decisions (even if they seemed cruel) in a life-and-death situation, when others depend on you.

2025-01-16 01:30:44 +0000 UTCSo apparently in the light novel Jinwoo kicks Kim Chuls sword towards him when hes lying down so he would see it when he wakes up he was planning on killing him the whole time which is why as hes dying he said you knew this would happen also the sabertooth guy said that he felt as if he fought Jinwoo he should be prepared to lose an arm in order to beat him.

2025-01-16 01:09:36 +0000 UTCfrom an outsiders perspective it is definetly questionable. He is a bad leader, and behaved like a complete tool before, but I think his reaction isnt all that unreasonable from his perspective. They most likely had supplies for a day with them but they were wandering around the freezing cold for a couple of days before fighting the elves. After being traumatized from having his party wiped, starving and fatigued from lack of sleep and wandering around so much, he stumbles upon these "weaklings" having a great time around a campfire with warm winter coats and a tarp to protect them from the freezing wind and eating some meat, which he doesnt know was the bears they killed themselves.

2025-01-16 01:05:28 +0000 UTCAlso, how much of a boss do you have to be to intervene between two S-Rank's ?

2025-01-16 00:45:54 +0000 UTCThat's the thing: he is obviously the "bad guy" in that story, but from his point of view, Kim Chul probably did what was best for the group (or at least for the part of the group he thought was salvageable), with the highest chance of success in clearing the dungeon, even if he ultimately failed in the end. However, his behavior after his group was destroyed is definitely questionable, at least.

2025-01-16 00:03:24 +0000 UTCI thought Iron and Kim Chul look so similar. They have the same face shape and eyes. Also The helmet has the same horns on it. I love how observent you are. noticing the taunt from Iron and also not blindly getting absorbed by Jinwoos coolness. Jinwoo decided to just sit it out, risking a dungeon break in the process, which wouldve possibly led to a lot of destruction and death in the real world. Yes he needed Iron to defeat Baruka, but he did not know that and who is to say they couldnt have beaten him if they teamed up right at the beginning. Kim Chul atleast tried to save as many people as thought he could by rushing the boss with the strongest members.

2025-01-15 22:53:57 +0000 UTCYeah when I read this a year ago I definitely questioned the morality of killing someone and then using their body. I mean still the tank was tryna kill him soooo. But imagine if he were to do that to civilians yk.

2025-01-15 22:36:53 +0000 UTCThat’s exactly why they skip it until everything is shown. What else would an intro spoil?

2025-01-15 22:28:18 +0000 UTCSuch a good episode, so early in the season! Let’s hope the quality stays at this level. I thought Jinwoo would have a "basic" army now, with Igris as the trump card after the end of season one. I never even considered that we could actually play Pokemon and add other minions along the way - so cool! And I know we’ve killed people before, but this time it felt even darker to me. How he just casually killed Kim without any effort and instantly put him into his shadow army - fuck around and find out, I guess. Still, it’s kinda funny how the shadows seem to have a bit of a personality left.
