The big difference between Christianity and polytheism paganism is that the pagans believed that there were multiple gods so when they met another culture they might compare gods and say theirs are stronger and that's why they win but they don't inherently dispute the existence of them, meanwhile Christians believe that there is only one God and therefore the others are not real or at worse demons pretending and thus must be opposed inherently. Christianity was fairly unique even biblical jews kept adding idol of other gods every now and then and God brought tribulations down upon them(according to the old testament) until they got back in line... until like 3-4 generations later where they did it again.

Since when is "Aura" GenZ slang? 😭 No!~ Absolutely not. For me, that's like.. I dunno.. akin to Holy Spirit being the same as Rizz. Lol it feels yucky. Also, not sure if it's accurately followed in this anime since it could just be character designs and whatnot, but we Norse Pagans have some religious and cultural traditions surrounding hair, so different hairstyles and lengths can denote rank, age, and where you're at in life. Canute would keep his hair long because he's a royal and high status. Teens also would keep longer hair, then later, depending on your way of life, rank, ect. They'd shave the back underside, wear their hair in braids, ect. Braids either indicate marriage or religious significance, so he wouldn't braid his hair like you might normally see with others either. As he gets older and fights in battles, he might cut it to a more reasonable length though, but still keep it longer than the shaved, bowl-cut, or jarhead type styles you would see. Oh, and it might be worth noting, (I think it's interesting anyway) that despite common portrayals, there's nothing that ever says beards represent anything. They aren't "signs of a warrior" or "true masculinity" you see viking characters saying. It was perfectly acceptable to go clean shaven, or wear a beard with a dozen braids to your ankles (though you might get made fun of for that one) Beards would however, help prevent frost burn on people's faces or sunburn even, and also provide some amount of protection from things like insects, and if they were to braid them, that's purely to keep them tidy and out of the way, because the Norse valued cleanliness. They wouldn't want food and drink in their beards, and I dunno what it's like to have one, but I imagine beards can easily ruin things like intimacy, get in the way of.. I dunno.. vision in battle? Depending on the length 😂 Imagine walking through a snow storm and your beard just flying up into your eyes.. 🤣
