Don’t worry I am too

I think Vincenzo was thrown off his game because of his love for Cha-young. He’s not used to being this close to someone and it affected his reasoning.

im late 2 the party but all i can say is this was a great series and a great reaction to it! loved rewatching it all with you guys!

I am loving Steph's bewildered face while Vincenzo's explaining the spear of atonement 🤣 and Wesley's disgusted face LMAO. I love you guys. This is my 1st rodeo of watching Kdrama w/ reactors & I'm loving the experience w/ y'all🫶

The actor that played Cha-young's father also stars in Itaewon Class as the main villain. He is a really good actor. There are a couple actors from Vincenzo in that show as well. Hope you get to react to this show as well at some point-he plays such a different character from the heartwarming lawyer in Vincenzo that fights for the little guy.

I'm not sure whether or not you guys are planning to react to any interviews but, just in case you are, I have a really fun one to recommend! Netflix did an interview with vincenzo's, cha-young's and jang han-seoks actors where they play Mafia! (A different type of mafia where they each draw a card, two of which have a word on it while one does not, essentially the two with words have to figure out who doesnt know the word and the mafia wins if they manage to figure out the word) I think you would really enjoy it 😉 thank you in advance if you decide to do it! The vineyard scene means that the villains died and became fertilizer for the vineyard. When Vincenzo and Cha-young’s father threatened a villain, he said “If we were in Italy, you would’ve become a fertilizer for the vinyards. You would become some cheap wine being sold on a buy 1 get 1 free (1+1) deal.” And eventually that became reality. It was so much fun with you guys! Thanks

lazynono

I agree. I was saying the same thing.

Cha-Young’s dad’s law firm was called Jipuragi Law Firm, he wanted it to be the “last straw” that his clients could reach for when they needed help. That’s what Vincenzo is referencing with the name of his island.

I find it is so amusing how much of a problem y’all had with the opening scene! I thought it made sense and don’t fault Vincenzo at all. While it’s true that he IS logical and capable. He also hasn’t been shown to be put in a position like this before. He basically came in here with no plan and was kneeling on the ground and was actually going to let Han-Seo beat him to death. He’s panicking and tunnel visioning on the woman he loves being in danger. And first chance he gets he’s going to try to get her out of there. Do I think he should have untied her? No, but I do think he could have gotten her to cover or just out of the room and then come back to help Han-Seo. Wrestling over the gun/the person with a gun could have just as well got any or all three of them shot. honestly the boy just needed to open a window to let his gang of pigeons come in to the rescue and they would have all been fine lol 😭

I don't know if you guys know, but the Vincenzo cast did a gamecaterers episode (the one that BTS also did with NaPD) here are the links if you guys want to watch: (it is a 2-parter) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML9E33z2jJ0&t=11s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwA0qe_JkhI&t=37s

While doing a mukbang 😉

I had a great time first-watching this show together with you. Thank you guys. Loved it and I am already excited for a new journey (absolutly terrified of zombies and Horror-genre, so maybe have to sit out the next round)

Jane Ling

once you guys watch a few more kdramas, it would be interesting to see you do a tier list! or do it as something you start now and add on to as you complete kdramas.

For some reason I got more emotional with the flashback of Hanseo than his actual death

Connor

I agree with you guys. The script for Han-seo’s death was wacky. They could’ve nerfed Vincenzo physically. Maybe a shot on his Arm or leg. Vincenzo for the 99% of the show has remained unscathed. And in the finale, you tell me that he doesn’t even have a bullet in him. Why would a mafia dude would go to untie Cha when he can gang up with Han-Seo. Apart from this major flaw, this series was really entertaining. Every actor killed their part. Waiting for a S2

Md Sheam Bin Sayhid

i agree with you guys on han-seo’s death. it honestly could’ve been more well executed, and it just felt off because of how vincenzo froze. i genuinely think he could’ve prevented it from happening.
