The earth is constantly moving, so if you take space time into consideration when putting a human being through a minature black hole with the intent of going back in time.. you'll never know where you could end up. They even brought up the possibility that there could be bodies in the vaccum of space for all we know due to the fact the globe is constantly moving. There's just too many unknown variables to consider when we talk about time travel. Steins Gate does a pretty good job at grounding time travel and making it feel genuinely possible with all the detail of (psuedo) science they put into how it works. So with taking all these into consideration, time travel seems terrifying. It seems like a literal gamble and damn accurate probability calculation that comes with going through a kerr black hole and hopefully coming out safely AND still on Earth.
