Curiosity is part of human nature regardless of where we grew up. every kid i have seen is curious as hell. They want to touch everything, want to know about everything. They only stops when an older person tell them to. It's adults who prevent that curiosity in child. So in every sense, Gon is how a child acts.

Most kids are taught or at least copy their parent or guardians idea of morality before learning how to make judgements of their own.

On contrary to what Wes said about Gon being a greek god who has reincarnated, Gon is actually a perfect representation of a how a child acts. (Hat's off to Togashi) Filled with curiosity, doesn’t care about good or evil, as long he can get closer to his goal (finding his dad). It’s amazing how Gon doesn’t mind befriending Killua, who has killed 1000s of people, as well as doesn’t have any hatred or disgust towards Hisoka for being a creep and murderer, only because he helps him in improving his skills and getting closer to goal. In the next episode you'll see how much of a hypocrite Gon really is.

2025-02-14 09:03:59 +0000 UTCWhen Killua hit Gon and said “it seems appropriate” How I interpreted it is that Killua was basically saying that it was reckless of Gon to trail Hisoka, and that Gon is very lucky to not have been caught while pursuing Hisoka. In short: Killua was thinking value your life you idiot, at least that’s how I understood it.

Only for large "projects" 😅 Any other time, they do their own thing (like when Hisoka went to take the Hunter Exam and then went to Heavens Arena) So this hideout is more of a short term hang out spot while they go out and do little side quests before the real thing. I'm sure they would like to remain incognito too, with not too many eyes on them. That would probably hinder their job as thieves lol
