Haha I feel like my parents told me I couldn’t when I was a kid one time and it’s burned into my memory that I cannot watch it haha

Wes And Steph

What Stephanie has never seen Jurassic Park? You should totally react to that guys

kinetic98

Esil's betrayal was the cutest in anime. Best waifu in solo leveling imo

kinetic98

Yeah... the system DOES say that the beings here have "souls", living breathing souls...to be collected. Yep, I say they aren't digitized versions at the very LEAST

Æsir

As someone who doesn’t know the source material, I agree - the ending seems very "cryptic and symbolic", at least to me. Also, I don’t think it’s a problem if they figure it out sometimes. It’s just a theory at the end of the day. Just don’t spoil whether it’s right or wrong if you know the answer - that’s the whole fun of it: to theorize and see if it turns out to be true in the end.

Rockycitygirl

I understand that. But if you read the manhwa AND watched the OP, the references ARE TOO FUCKIN obscure for ANY one not familiar with the story to understand. They are VERY obscure

Æsir

The problem with watching Wes and Steph is sometimes they are gonna figure it out anyway.

Renegade

You can watch the OP now. Every aspect of it is covered. As for the ED, that as well cuz its not like you are gonna understand it anyway

Æsir

And just when we were thinking "wow, he's so OP" the writers were like "hah! Nope. Let's humble him" love it. S-tier writing. One thing I thought was poignant in this fight is the realization that old Jinwoo would never have been able to fight like this, but also, he probably got so OP so fast that it might have even messed with his true learning. Like you wouldn't need to fight to survive for so long because you're so powerful, but then suddenly a big buddy comes along and demonstrates to you that you skipped all kinds of fighting lessons. That is something I wonder if is written into the fight (hard to tell from this one fight because it was so flashy) but clearly Jinwoo wasn't fighting as well as the other guy because he had to be saved multiple times by his soldiers and the demon girl. 🤔 another thought I had was if Jinwoo heavily sucked at a fight like this, if there is a point where he could potentially lose control of his soldiers (we seen them display independent behaviors that were beyond Jinwoo's control) so like if he sucked so bad against a major boss that they deem him unworthy of following anymore? I dunno if that can happen given the nature of these things, but you never know. That would be super interesting to see if it can happen

I suppose it may have been lost in translation and the anime is deffo not making some stuff clear as the manhwa. But then again who can blame them we can read a lot more than we can hear in the same amount of time. Demons are different just like how Jinwoo cant extract demons but can extract monsters into his army. It will also be more easier for you to understand later in the story hopefully and her orders are to defend their place and esil just thought of the only way to defend is to surrender and see jinwoo take care of the other threats to her kingdom. She was a bit of a goofball tho which didnt help with the out of place factor. I can only say things will unfold eventually like the story gets bigger trust. I hope that kinda explains some stuff.

Not that I particularly disliked Esil, but she felt so out of place compared to everything we had seen so far. It was such a back and forth with her the whole episode. She fought against Jinwoo and lost, surrendered, tried to backstab him, and failed again. Afterwards, she was basically "forced" by Jinwoo to accompany him but didn’t back out later on the 90th floor, even though she could have - only to then question which side she was on when Jinwoo fought Barca, just to ultimately save Jinwoo’s life at the end. What a wild ride! Also, I thought up until now that the demons/monsters had to obey the commands in their heads. So, do they not have to? Otherwise, why were she and the demons in the castle able to surrender at all instead of continuing to "defend their place"?

Rockycitygirl

So, when is the Jurassic Park reaction?

Rockycitygirl

i agree with wes because i can see how these different types of “people” jinwoo meets can be classified as like a system design but at the same i feel like all these different types of beings have their own dimensions/worlds since the portal could be like a link to connect dimensions to each others, just like how esil mention they were from the demon realm but ended up there in the tower

Agreed

Don't forget Jin Woo can (generally) "raise" monsters, so if they were just digital copies would he be able to do that ? And it's not like he didn't do it on certified living beings too (that A rank human back then). Which confirmed his power is "really" necromancy.

Fabien

He also could have negociated with Barca, so negociations with monsters is nothing new. Jin Woo refused because well, the orders the elves heard in their head was to kill the humans. So the condition of the negociation was to let them kill the (other) humans... But here in that dongeon what's weird is that for the first time the order they hear is different (well I actually know the reason but whatever). So to negociate with him, is basically not obeying the voice saying "protect that place".

Fabien

Explanation on the Current Place hes in Both Barca and the high orcs were gates that appeared in the real world and he entered into Demon Tower was a System Given Key when he used a blessed loot-box, same with the Metro Station key with all the red Wolves he was given in season 1 where the normal metro with people walking past him, these places are system/pocket dimension made and the reason he cannot "Arise" any of them

Fira

finally!

Esil❤️

You really don't need to skip the opening or ending credits anymore. There's nothing that they spoil now

Tony

Jin woo was called Shadow monarch in his title, and demon king Baran’s title was Demon monarch…
