I love the writing of this show. As soon as we think we know what will happen next, the total opposite will happen, and that will throw us off. I also really love the actors. I think everyone acted so well, especially the main leads. Both En Sung and Hein were so good. And I became a fan of Kim Soo Hyun after this show (love his acting, especially his macro expressions - he acts with his eyes). Anyway love the reactions guys. Can't wait to check out other stuff that you guys reacted to.

Let me just leave this here, because the issue still warrants caution to everyone following it. Y'all — the "exposé" first came out from Garosero Research Institute, which is one of those Korean YouTube channels who are in it to destroy high profile celebrities. The man behind it is the same one who had it in for Tzuyang and almost drove her to self-exiting. This channel also managed to escape the law, with the police and the courts saying that the former MBC reporter did nothing wrong even though they actually threatened Tzuyang and continue to extort many other celebrities. It is also worth mentioning that this channel has ties to a political party. Let me remind you that it's channels like this and netizens who follow the same media outrage who drive a lot of Korean artists to self-exiting. We lost Sae-ron to the same kind of people. Please note that Sae-ron left no confirmation to anyone, not even her family whom she worked hard for. There is no reason to follow rumors implicating Soo-hyun, other than the unfortunate tragedy on his birthday, but we know no one can guarantee why it happened on his birthday. I know the news and issues coming out are heartbreaking and baffling, but you should mind what you talk about when you know you're just following the same rumor mill that continue to drive these artists to self-destruction. Pun intended, because Sae-ron's old controversies should have never been used to make her suffer like she did, and it's opportunistic media, like Garosero Research Institute and Behind Master Lee Jin Ho, who make this world unlivable for artists who just want to live on their terms. Don't be part of that problem.

Yes, the scene with the brother's wife was totally a cultural thing. You're not the only reactors who've read that scene wrong lol. Basically, the mom knew that the woman was out of her son's league. So, she basically said I won't be a demanding mother-in-law, I won't demand that you treat me like your actual mother, matter fact, you can even pretend I don't exist!!...as long as you promise to never return my son back to me (aka as long as you guys never get divorced). Idk if my explanation does it justice, but it's very funny if you understand the cultural/social context. In Asian cultures, women tend to marry into their husband's family. So, the daughter-in-law would typically be expected to ingratiate herself with all of his family (bc in Asian culture, extended families typically/historically all live together or very close together). So, basically, mama was saying you don't need to do any of that, just please stay married to my son 😂😂

[I'm gonna go ahead and comment under the impression that you'll finish out the show and still want our thoughts/reactions; literally every other comment is abt the KSH situation, so ik ur informed] I would push back on that whole "he doesn't love her; he just wants to own her" logic abt Eunsung. I'd argue he does love her; it's just that he is incapable of displaying it in a healthy way. In his formative years, there were absolutely no examples of healthy relationships or ways to display love/affection. He loves his mom, yet she abandons him and pretends he doesn't exist (not to mention abused by other adults who were supposed to love and protect him). The psychological effect of that kinda stuff irl is paramount. So, understanding how good the writers are, I'd say he does love Hae-in but (1) is incapable of expressing it in a healthy way, (2) is being motivated by his crippling abandonment issues and desire for approval, and (3) is also being affected by the dire situation of Hae-in being terminally ill. I'd say the combination of all 3 is causing him to slowly lose his grip and become more volatile and desperate to grab a hold of her (get her love and approval) while he still can. Does he give off psycho vibes? Certainly! 😂 but I think his main thing (or maybe I should say those psychopathic tendencies only come out bc) he's desperate for love and approval from Hae-in and will do anything to get it. Edit: after thinking abt it for a min, I guess you could also say that bc of his abandonment issues and desire for approval, he's developed control issues (a desire for control, not maliciously, although that's how it's being expressed, but in general bc he grew up with a lack of security). So I guess you could say that is also playing a role in his quest(?) for Hae-in

It actually did. You should get updated, all the information is public in the company website with the metadata that includes the precise time the pictures were taken and also the location. There's a reason the youtuber wouldn't just public the metadata of the photos he has which is the best way to prove when they were taken but instead just made wild claim. Also, actors denying relationships is standard practice, not to mentioned they had already broken up 4 years before she leaked the photo herself. I don't know why he's the one getting criticized for it.

why are you lying ?? it was not proven that it was taken in 2019. GM (which is still KSH) is the only one claiming they were both adult by the time they were taken. They're the same people that LIED and said KSR and KSH didnt date at all, making pass as a crazy woman. They didnt backtrack and confirm they DID date until chinese fans bought more evidences of them having dates during his military services (KSR was STILL a MINOR at that time btw). You mean the evidence where the Chinese fans found out that the shirt she was wearing is only produced by Nike starting from 2019? The house he was naked in is also given to KSR by the company in 2019. All the photos the youtuber and the famlily claimed was taken in 2016 was also proven to be taken in 2019 with the metadata. I'm not implying KSR is a liar because she can't say anything anymore, i'm saying so far the evidences from the youtubers for the claims he was dating a minor are all wrong and now they are resorting to leaking private photos of two adults in relationship for no reason. This is why i said it's very dangerous. All the people fall for misinformations, make their own narrative in their head and refuse to look at any refute evidences from the "enemy". This youtuber killed Lee Sun Kyun not so long ago, just be careful before there's another victim.

I just want to say that this is clearly not so black and white as some people has already made it out to be. You mean bunch of clip of him talking to them? I don't really see anything past that and no others actress has come out for their own allegations. That's not really allegations just online people find whatever they want and bend it to their narrative. His company statements is very precise and reasonable that include solid proof like the photos timestamp and everything, unlike the shit flinging from KSR's family and the youtuber who is using a dead girl for fame and money.

Some context regarding Hyuntae’s wife. Firstly this is a cameo, apparently they starred in another drama together as a married couple. The mom saying she doesn’t need to visit them during holidays or in general is not her shunning her it’s actually the opposite. From what I’ve read is that daughters in law tend to have to take care of their in-laws - in some cases almost to the point of an indentured servant or just an inconvenient obligation . Due to the age hierarchy the DIL would have to follow her in-laws wishes and this dynamic can easily be abused by the in-laws. This is like how Hyun Moo and all the other married in men were forced to cook at the beginning of the series typically for holidays or ancestral rights it would be the DIL doing all that work. By the Mom saying she doesn’t need to see them and can go to her own family on holidays she is saying she doesn’t want her daughter in law to have those work obligations to them and just to not divorce her son haha 🤣

I love this show, and your guys reaction to it, so it's very unfortunate at the timing of events. As others have said, allegations have come out against Hyun-woo's actor (Kim Soo-hyun) about him having relations with an (at the time) minor and manipulating her, while being in a relationship for allegedly six years. The actress (Kim Sae-ron) recently committed suicide at only age 24. Everything is still pending and more information is coming out every day. I'd advise the two of you to look into it on your own if you feel like you can handle the upsetting situation. It is up to the both of you whether or not you want to continue reacting to the show. It goes without saying that this show was the result of many talented cast and crew, and it is a shame that the allegations are putting a bad mark on this work (as well as his past works). There are only 4 episodes left I believe, so whatever you chose we will support your decision. 💜

It's important to mention that these are still allegations and it might take a while until everything is truthfully out in the open. There are truths and lies mixed together. There were few statements released from his side as well. I would suggest you guys do your own research and build your own opinion. Also this show is a result of a lot of peoples hard work put together. It deserves to be watched till the end.

Both parties have evidence, and I believe only time will tell in this case. yeah :/ i love it’s okay to not be okay and queen of tears, but it feels different now. i’ll stick with you guys to finishing this out because it is a great show, but going forward, i would recommend avoiding any new works of his.

You guys probably don’t know but Kim Soo-Hyun, the male lead, is facing very serious accusations right now dealing with some stuff regarding dating a minor and manipulating her(being a big reason why she committed s*****e)… while I wish it wasn’t true, there’s lots of solid evidence against him. I’m actually so shocked and sad.
