π€£ like I said in my last comment last ep, age is so arbitrary in anime. Little boys and girls are secret adults and old ladies, mature looking men and women are teens. These characters can be drawn any way and the authors just stamp on whatever age makes sense to them lol this show is prime example of fiction is whatever you want it to be and why you should be careful about assigning reality to it

2025-04-02 00:35:31 +0000 UTCso I recently got curious about what hunter x hunter is about after just vaguely being aware that it's good, started watching your reactions to it, binged them all in 3 days (it was over the weekend, okay? π ) and now I'm trying my best not to start binging the rest of the show before you π all that to say I'm really enjoying it π even better with your commentary π I also have a feeling it'll become one of my favourite animes -next to AOT & FMAB- since I already love Killua & Gon's dynamic sm and the story itself is just so well done

This manga/anime has inspired many others after it especially shonens, but that applies to its other arcs. I can't think of another manga/anime that took inspiration from this arc's game. Character designs sure, but a card game or just an arc specific game in general, no. Anyway, I can't wait to see you two learn more about Greed Island and go through this arc. I love this arc so much.
