Added 2025-07-11 17:00:05 +0000 UTCHey Guys! Editor Alex was able to go back and save our reaction to Dune that we recorded over a year ago! So HUGE thanks to him! Our display footage had corrupted and needed to be synced manually, and Alex was such a trooper and handled it! The section he had to retie together was from about 23 minutes to about 1 hour and 33 minutes in, so that section will be a little bit more choppy than usual, but it was the only way we could get it out for you guys! Thanks again for all of your support, love you guys! We're so happy to finally get to share this with you all!

Arrakis is the only planet that produces Spice. It isn’t a plot point or anything and they mention it in the first book, but spice is essentially created from Sandworm…. Fecal matter mixed with corpses of dead larvae.

So for him to rise to the prophecy he needed to kill because when somebody kills then something within you forever changes. That is why the whole thing about the guy asking the mother if he was toying with him and she said no its just Paul has never taken a life was somewhat important to give context. So for him to be become the chosen one he needed to kill Jamis and so he did follow the vision.
