Its interesting because i felt her giggliness with the other guy was her nit being herself. She even says in this episode that the temperature of their love let her be herself. It also paralells how she talked about putting on a high voice and giggling to impress the mother in law, and i feel that her not being as giggling and her being more in charge and matter of fact and bold is actually her real self. She doesnt need to act extra girly or flattering with him whereas the other relationship his default was baby talking and wanting her to be more childish and whiny with their flirting but it wasnt how she actually was. Even her mom pointed it out that she was not being as assertive and she was fawning, i dont think it was only because of the awful mother in law, i think she felt she had to be more 'flirty' and less bossy and firy. She made herself smaller for the first guy and now she can just be herself and they know eachother in embarrassing situations already and knew eachother as friends first and had talks about poems and books and things she was genuinely interested in, she doesnt need to act differently to flatter him or baby him or guard his feelings and she doesnt need to worry about proving herself, being pitied or being condescended to or coddled or controlled with him, and she doesnt need to worry about seeming to bold or too independent because he values her strength and ability to shine wherever she is. Thats what i love about them, they arent trying to change eachother, they understand eachother well. He even offered to call off the wedding if she wanted. I think it is admirable too that even if he wanted to impress her dad, he still would ignore him to follow her and put her first because he was worried about her. He was putting her first while also trying to be respectful and he was secure enough in himself to draw his own respectful boundaries with his inlaws too to put her first.

I feel you so much about the work stuff!! 😭😭😭 it’s so tough. Not so many good/decent jobs out there anymore either.

All this job talk made me depressed πŸ˜… you guys are so right. And ya, I've gotten to a point where nobody will hire me for anything. They won't hire me because I'm too qualified so I tell them "No really, I just need a job I can enjoy, I don't have any expectations about raises and promotions." But then they won't hire me because I'm too disabled by mental and physical limitations, then others won't hire me because I don't have a degree (like typing jobs btw. As if I need a BA to type a schedule) but then they won't hire me because I'm in University. Not to mention where I live is a "right to work" state, so I'm discriminated against for my gender identity all the time (having short hair and dressing in men's clothes, even if I wear makeup to the interview) or if my hair is dyed, I get sent away with "we don't hire people like you here" and it's just hard. People make it impossible to find a career or even a part time job when you're 30, in school, and don't fit the molds set, but then the government doesn't wanna help you if you're too disabled to be hired but not disabled enough on paper. Ugh 😩 I don't even know what I should pursue anymore because AI is dismantling every career path that was feasible for me. Yet I'm being told I'm not trying hard enough, that I'm lazy, ect. when I've been applying to jobs for 5 years and they take one look at me and say "we don't think you're right for this job" it's just really not the same job market as when our parents were growing up. It used to be that anyone could work at the fair if they signed up, and now I can't even get a job there! My own family wouldn't hire me for their food booth because I don't fit the criteria. So I relate to the struggle at the start of this ep. πŸ˜… the job market is rough unless you have some niche skillset, are in your teens and 20s, or can do heavy lifting. Awwww the ending had me bawling lol that was so cute 😭❀️ I mean, up to the wedding lol after the wedding, not so cute. But I really like her with Picasso. I think he's a good balance with her, the same way Gwan-sik was a balance to Ae-sun's craziness. The ending healed my heartu πŸ₯°
