As to why the citizens aren't panicking when leaving the city, depending on the region of japan, the threat of volcanic eruption can be a very common thing that locals would be quite used to. There are some populated regions that are in direct proximity to volcanoes that erupt fairly regularly. Some of these areas even have public services for clearing volcanic ash from the streets like snow since a nearby volcano is always spewing ash that gets carried into town by the wind. Even in cities near dormant volcanoes, the people living there will often be fully aware of the risks and there will be carefully planned public emergency protocals in place just in case. Even Mt. Fuji, which last erupted in 1707, is still considered active and could technically erupt at any point. The youtube channel Abroad in Japan has an excellant documentary video that goes into how Japanese people live with volcanoes and several other aspects of volcanoes in Japan. The video is titled "Is Japan's Most Dangerous Volcano About to Erupt?" It's a clickbaity title, but the content is very informative if anyone reading this is interested.

2025-11-19 01:06:28 +0000 UTCthat moment with momo and okarun is the main driving factor for me to keep watching. i love all the fight scenes, acting, funny moments, but man, those moments with momo and okarun are so amazing. this moment at the end was so wholesome but sad at the same time because momo really thought she lost okarun for good :(((( this anime does romance better than any show i have ever watched, it just feels so real and human.

2025-08-01 22:33:11 +0000 UTCOne thing to keep in mind with the evil spirits is that even though in essence they’re usually nice we’ve seen how corrupted they can become when they’re dead. Acro Silky for example wasn’t evil at all when she was alive but when she became an evil spirit she was willing to eat what she thought was her daughter because she wouldn’t call her mommy. Turbo granny also seemed to be generally good in the fact that she had the innocent mindset of protecting the violated girls spirits which eventually somehow turned into hurt any man or woman who comes into the tunnel and take their privates. My assumption has always been that Evil eye’s story is totally true and seeing as he became vengeful as a spirit like the others his wish of killing the Kito family contorted into kill all humans while playing games like football
