Rarely will they wait until they're 28 cause that just delays their ability to find a job + start their lives (jobs will not hire you if you still have to go serve for 2 years) 2) You can choose what branch of military you go into and can apply for different troopes(?) -- like ik some ppl will apply for special forces, but I donm't think it's gaurenteed that you get into whatever division you want. Only thing that I think is gaurenteed is what branch you do (army, marines, navy, air force, and then some more minor branches like Yoongi did with working in the social worker branch)

Because it’s a day I’ve been waiting for, and it’s also been such a long time, I pondered a lot about how to greet you. First, above all else, I wanted to sincerely thank my fans for waiting for me until now. I really missed you. I think that over the past two years, I took time to think about myself. In particular, I also felt that I needed to temporarily distance myself and step back from the work I’d been doing for a long time. Oh btw, it's over ten years so I'm not sure about nowadays, but there were two North Korean defectors in my middle school back then. so maybe it's more common to see them than everyone thinks!
