2025-07-12 04:24:25 +0000 UTCOk I'm by no means a musically talented individual, but I watch a lot of professional vocal peoples YouTube and you got me thinking on "the Clouds" (p.s. thanks, I'm crying now lol) but you articulated what that song does so well, and you're actually pretty accurate when you say how V's voice being in the diaphram sounds soulful but Jin's voice being up in the head is introspective and thoughtful, that's really a vocal mechanism I hear about a lot. "Soulful" is when we singing from the belly or chest and it feels raw, unrestrained, emotional, but singing from high in the head voice, it creates a more careful, spiritual, thoughtful type feeling. I recommend seeking vocal coach reaction yt for better explanations, but I feel in my very not-trained opinion you hit the nail on the head just by feeling. ☺️ Also, apparently why we hear Jin's and Jimin's voice so differently is because Jimin sings from waay up in his head voice, so there's a sharp clarity to it that pierces the ears in a way we think of as angelic or surreal, but Jin sings from his frontal head voice like in his nasal region and a bit of his throat or chest, which not a lot of vocalists want to do (cuz of damage it can do to your throat) and that gives his unique sounds that I dunno how to convey well either. I almost want to just call it emotional, or introspective as well. Heartfelt? His voice is one of those that I don't think I consciously realized I love so much, but it makes me "feel" more

2025-07-05 22:59:49 +0000 UTC"Don't say you love me" hurt too hard 😭 I definitely agree, I think the hardest ones to let go of are when you both are soulmates, you love each other and are so healthy for each other.. until you're not. My partner of 10 yrs and I (they're why I got into BTS even) both really love and respect each other, and we're still best friends, but at some point between our personal issues we both stopped and realized "this isn't working anymore" and I particularly couldn't wrap my head around the change and couldn't let go because nothing felt wrong, we didn't have any problems and I was trying to set us up to move in together and marry and it just all faded and stopped, so it was by far the hardest breakup I ever had to heal from. I almost wished we had a huge blowup or disagreement but it was almost like we broke up because we loved and respected each other too much that we couldn't burden each other anymore. Couldn't load each other's shoulders with emotional burden anymore. Ugh! My heartu.. such a good album. Ok the way I ATE UP "Loser" 😂 I love it so much~ WWH energy for sure, and now I'm gonna have to listen to that song 800x
