Pesonally i fell like the girls around lelouch hiligh/foil his diferents facets instead of just potential romance interest(that is why i will satrt the list with...): Lelouch as a kind and caring brother = Nunnally Lelouch as a nomal student with friends and pears= Shyrley Lelouch as the Idealist rebelion leader = Kallen Lelouch machiavelian and result driven side = C.C. And others that i dont what to spoil

Extrapolate the situation to the USA, if you pointed a gun at an active US serviceman who was trying to arrest a terrorist, and as a result, they charge you and you fire, killing them, that's murder, self-defence doesn't include shooting at lawful authority who are trying to make an arrest, even if they are trying to arrest you. So, Shirley is rightfully pretty messed up rn, as she could well be a murderer.
