The whole modesty thing is so weird. I remember when I was younger, me and my cousins used to shower together all the time when we were at my grandparents' place. One time I had my best friend come over and I completely forgot that that's not normal so I almost went in with her lol. Thankfully my mom stopped me and we had a laugh about it. Now that I'm older, I definitely find communal showers a bit uncomfortable. I picked up swimming recently and I usually shower in my swimsuit, but last time I went there was a girl that went in completely naked. For me that's insane :D

I was very shocked to visit America and find that the bathroom stalls have gaps so massive someone could enter it by crawling under the sides, and to find out that communal showers are a thing. If you don't have to share space with someone else's pubes and germs, why would you? Gotta love the wide parking lots and roads though. That's fire.
