Vinland saga lol) But yes, Eros is the son of Aphrodite (Goddess of lustful, passionate love) and the God of true love and is the same being as Cupid (the little baby imagery comes from Christian folklore, cherubs and somewhere along the immersion of Christianity and Greek paganism, they got mashed together. Eros is a fully grown, handsome man with wings like Jin's costume.) Eros's most famous story is the love story between Eros and Psyche. They married, but Psyche was told to never look at her husband, that he was a monster. She fell so in love with his kindness, however, so she pretended to sleep one night and peeked at him while he was sleeping, falling even more in love with him, but he was mad that she betrayed his trust. They do end up making up, but Aphrodite, being a jealous helicopter mom, (she was angry someone called Psyche more beautiful than her) curse Psyche to lose her mind, which is why the word Psyche means mind, or psychotic means illness of the mind. Barring that little bit, the love between Psyche and Eros is the only story with a successful marriage between a human and a God. (Circe and Dionysus doesn't count because Circe was half nymph and a demi-goddess, which is why she is associated with witchcraft) βΊοΈ 10/10 recommend reading the story of Eros and Psyche though. It's where the story of Beauty and the Beast kind of originates. π€£π€£π€£π€£ This show nearly killed me. What chaos..

2025-10-14 22:50:19 +0000 UTCAs someone who has learned 2 other languages, I'd actually argue that the numbers are the easiest part lol They tend to have a repetitive, easy-to-understand pattern once you get to 20+ (the teens also tend to have an easy-to-understand pattern, but it might be slightly different than the one for 20+). So really all you have to do is learn how to say 1-20 and you're golden
